When I first read this quote I thought it was just a romantic scene from a movie. However, as I started to think about it more deeply I began to see that it is an accurate portrayal of the way some people act in life. They act like they are invincible and that nothing can or will happen to them.
This is the reason why they live in fear constantly, constantly fearing that they will be hurt or worse yet die. Certainly not all people act this way but there are too many to ignore the fact that most people do somehow go through life with this attitude. This quote reminds me of the saying "I don’t feel so good" when someone they know is sick and you hear them say “I’m so sick” or "I’m dying" or even “I’m dead." These are all ways of saying that you are scared that they will die or that you are scared they will get sick because it would mean they're hurting themselves by doing something stupid.
